Waterfall and Wildflower Maternity Session

Throwing it back to Kate and Andy’s maternity session in June.

Since then, they have welcomed their precious little boy and I’m currently editing his newborn images.

These two were up for anything and were full of joy and laughs. Kate had a clear vision of exactly what she wanted her maternity photos to look like. We messaged back and forth for weeks and shared Pinterest ideas (seriously, what did we ever do without Pinterest?) before settling on this beautiful waterfall at Lock 12 and wildflowers.

We started off at Lock 12 in Holtwood and took some romantic pictures on the road in the park. We then trekked up the path to Mill Creek Falls – a beautiful waterfall that has multiple access points for you to get into the water.

I think she looks like an absolute goddess! Maternity water sessions are so beautiful, a gorgoues way to celebrate the natural miracle your body is going through.

We ended the session at my favorite yellow wildflower field and with golden hour photos at Historic Rockford.
